Samsung Galaxy SIII

Finally, after a month of calls to Three mobile (a different story) my new Samsung Galaxy SIII arrived. Personally, I don't see why people would buy IPhone's and especially Blackberry's, it's in a class of it's own!


A few features that stand out me at the moment:

S-Voice

I know it's not getting great press, but I don't see what is wrong with it. S-Voice does everything it needs to do and works reasonably quickly. Also, lets be honest, who uses Voice control to completely control there phone? Whilst, we are talking about voice control, don't forget about the great controls spread around the phone (like in the camera).

Weight and Dimensions

The first thing that hit me when I opened the box for the Galaxy was the weight. Although it is 20g heavier than the SII, it is impressive for the features that are included. The phone is also extremely thin (measuring at around 8.6mm). You have to wonder how they manage to squeeze all the components in.

Battery

To keep this list balanced, I should mention the only poor aspect of the SIII. The battery life is supposed to be reasonably long, however I find the life is only reasonable when the phone is battery is on 'battery saving mode' with NFC and GPS disabled.

NFC

Whilst on the topic, NFC is a great feature. I have not found another SIII owner to test S-Beam, however I have only seen good press for it!
